Buy What You Love Without Going Broke

January is the time where new year's resolutions are still fresh. Having a better budget is always in the front of my mind after all of my holiday spending. That's why reading  Buy What You Love Without Going Broke after the holiday season was perfect for me. A chunk of the information seemed pretty basic after having read some other books on the subject. However sometimes basic information can serve as important reminders. Where this particular book stood out for me is that it acknowledges that budgeting isn't one size fits all and that people have different priorities at different points of life. I've read books that encouraged investing when I was living paycheck to paycheck.  I've also encountered  a lot of literature  with overly simplistic advice that didn't always fit my lifestyle.

I like how the writers of this book dig more into the psychology of money and have activities to partake in to help you explore this. I started my 90 spending diagnosis after reading encountering this idea this book. If this kind of activity sounds helpful, definitely pick up a copy of this book!

I received my copy from the authors in exchange for an honest review.
