Waif

Can a marriage be transformed by a plastic surgery? This is the question this novel explores. Waif is a novella that is a portrait of a troubled marriage. It does have a lot of the components expected with this subject matter: domestic abuse, rape, adultery.  The exploration is  compelling, provoking interesting questions about identity and fidelity. Samantha Kolesnik approaches this in a style  that makes it difficult to stop reading this splatter-punk  horror novella. Since it's a novella it is easy to read quickly.
