She's Still Here by Caitlin Alexander is a spooky middle grade ghost story. Young readers who want an ghost story with plenty of mystery and suspense will definitely enjoy this book. But adult readers who want a PG rated ghost story to share with the children in their life will also enjoy this book. An adult horror fan will appreciate the references to things like Stephen King’s IT and the movie Sixth Sense. As a fan of supernatural horror, She's Still Here was a very fun, satisfying read. Don’t be fooled by the target audience….the story is full of references to the terrors of school, bullying and nightmares that provides chills and thrills to anyone who lived through childhood.
