Sister Lost
Sister Lost by Brenda Lyne was one of my finds at the Twin Cities Book Festival. I am so lucky to live near Minneapolis where there are numerous talented writers in every genre! Being a horror novel written by a woman, it was one of the books that I HAD to buy at the event.
One of the things I really loved about this book
was the role the setting of Minneapolis played in the book (much like my love
for The
Sentence). Also a lot of my other
favorite things were included in this story: strong female protagonists,
haunted houses, family drama complimenting supernatural terror and delving into
the history of a place. Discovering this
book was like discovering a rare gem, especially as this author is local to me.
I definitely am eager to read more of her work!
I am also posting a modified version of this review on Goodreads.
