Mosiac has unique approach to tackling religious horror. The artifacts from an old church point to an age old mystery. Robin, who is hired to restore a stained glass window, has a lot of baggage from her family history that she is processing while working in the old church. Catherine McCarthy does a masterful job of using the setting of this old church to provoke psychological terror. This novella is an enticing page turner provoked by a mysterious ancient magic.
